The Taylor Street Sessions were born in December of 2015 when Arthur Conrad had a few songs to record and Jesse Hendrickson (Little Lebowski Urban Achievers, The Postponements, The Hairy Arms) obliged to record said sessions in his basement on Arthur Street in NE Minneapolis to two-inch tape. From those 3042 Arthur Street Sessions, the idea to bring friends and strangers together to perform session style sets in the true realm of term. The only rules were there were none, save for maybe keeping the session within 25 comfortable minutes or so. Since those first session recordings in 2015, the now Taylor Street Sessions have become an annual and sometimes bi-annual event, surviving through three sessions on the Interweb during the heights of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The photographs on this page serve as a document to help preserve the magical musical moments we have been blessed to share in over the years.
